Depictions of lemons and lemon branches have figured in tile designs since the days of ancient Pompeii and have been an enduring favorite of still life scenes in art for centuries - think of the Dutch still lives by Pieter Claesz and Henri Matisse.  Our version in concrete relief lays the lemon branches on a trellis of sorts.  In this way, the branches weave across the 4 tiles that make up this pattern with a regular rhythm, balancing the organic profusion of fruit and leaves. The pattern may be custom ordered in any color from our extensive palette.
